I am currently a Professor of English and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies at Allegheny College where I teach courses in English, Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and classes that fulfill requirements for the Middle East and North Africa Studies Minor (MENA), the Medieval and Renaissance Studies Minor (MEDRN). I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in an Individual Major (Renaissance Studies), from Stanford University (across the bay) with an M.A. in English, and from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a PhD in English. I joined the faculty at Allegheny College in 2000.
On this web site you can find links to current (and past) courses, resources for those courses, and general English resources. You can also find information about my teaching and academic interests and history.
If you have questions about being an English major, a Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies major, or a Medieval and Renaissance Studies minor, please contact me by email, phone, or just stop by during my office hours and I would be happy to help.
